We are looking to recruit an HGV Technician for our long established & reputable client based in Bootle, Liverpool.
£21.11 per hour - Basic
£31.67 per hour - Overtime
Permanent position
Potential of up to approximately £49,000 per annum.
Shift: Nights
Monday - Thursday: 19:00 - 06:00
Must flexible & willing to be part of the on-call rota.
- Carry out Safety & MOT Inspection to DVSA standards
- Carrying out repairs with defect rectification
- Trouble-shooting, fault finding, liaising with controllers and management, reporting on faults to discuss rectification process
- Supporting and working with other technicians and clients
- Experience of working in the commercial vehicle workshop
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment
- Basic knowledge with air brakes / EBS-ABS systems and diagnostic procedures
- Previous motor vehicle technician experience
- Apprentice trained and qualified to C&G or NVQ level 3 in motor vehicle mechanics, maintenance and repair, or equivalent
- Full up to date driving licence with HGV C + E Entitlement .
